LMT since 2019. My strengths as a massage therapist are attention to detail, communication, empathy, and efficiency. I worked in spas from 2019-2025 and mostly offer mobile massage now (2025). Overall from observing how the spa industry works for both therapists and clients, I would recommend 24/7 nonprofit wellness centers where there are lower rates for tools-based services (silicone cupping, percussion massage gun, gua sha). In my business I priced add-ons below market since they provide better results for clients, reduce my hands-on time, and add more variety to my sessions. I developed rheumatoid arthritis in my hands in June 2025, so I have adapted my business to use less Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques; I now focus on tools and stretches. Currently I’m training in floor mat Thai massage to add it to my services menu, both mobile and in office.
